Should you follow a Low Fat, High Fat, Low Carb, Mediterranean, Paleo, Ketogenic, Vegetarian, Vegan diet?

A recent article in Women’s Health (read further down for link) gives you the facts – and no fluff – about 22 weight loss diets reviewed and debunked by the experts – eat well, not less.  

There’s so much conflicting advice out there about healthy eating that even the so called “nutritional experts” are confused about. So, it’s no wonder that the rest of us are!

Are You Confused About What You Should Be Eating?

Reports in the media can be confusing about which foods are good for us and which foods are bad.

One day there’s a report telling us that eggs are unhealthy, then a few months later they’re the latest miracle food!

Exactly how many servings of fresh fruit and vegetables should we be having – 5 a day? / 10 a day?

What about fats?  Will fat raise your cholesterol? Are there such things as healthy fats?

With foods at the supermarket, if there are health claims on the label, you’ll probably find that the food is unhealthy (think breakfast cereals).

It’s enough to make you give up on trying to be healthy!

What’s The Best Healthy Eating Book To Buy?

People ask me all the time “Annie – What’s the best book to buy?”  and “Where do I start so I can learn more about eating healthily, losing weight and living a healthy lifestyle etc?”

If you take a trip to your local bookstore or even look online at Amazon, you’ll notice there are thousands of books to choose from on those subjects.

I personally have shelf after shelf of books about healthy eating, weight loss, recipe books and all aspects of health and I go to the latest nutritional seminars to keep my knowledge up-to-date.

From years of research,  I’ve discovered – there’s really is no “one diet that fits all” approach to a healthy lifestyle.

Successful eating plans need to be individualised and take the whole person into consideration.

I personally keep coming back to the same handful of nutritional experts and I love to pull one of their books from my shelf and dip into their valuable advice. The experts I recommend are all outstanding and “at the top of their game”.
