I always make sure I have plenty of Aspall’s Apple Cyder Vinegar at home – it has so many wonderful health benefits.
I particularly love the raw, unfiltered, unpasteurised version containing “The Mother”.
Yes, I was shocked too when I read that it contained “The Mother”! So I went on a mission to find out what exactly that meant.
Aspall’s Raw Organic Apple Cyder Vinegar is fermented from the juice of a special blend of organic apples and is unfiltered to retain the natural living enzymes that develop during fermentation and are known as “The Mother”.
I regularly have a glass of water with a teaspoon or two of Aspall’s Cyder Vinegar in before my lunchtime or evening meal.
It’s great for your digestion. Like other fermented foods, unpasteurised apple cider vinegar contains healthy bacteria – the gut-friendly bacteria that helps to keep your digestive system working properly. Cider vinegar may also provide relief for those with stomach problems like indigestion or heartburn. This is because it neutralises stomach acid, whilst acetic acid fights harmful bacteria.
Also I was listening to a Podcast today and the speaker was saying, as an alternative, you could try:
A 4 – 6oz glass of water
1 teaspoon of Apple Cyder Vinegar
Juice from half a lemon
You can add a little bit of honey, stevia or maple syrup if you can’t handle the ingredients above on their own
Once you get used to the taste – you can increase the teaspoons of Apple Cyder Vinegar up to a tablespoon
If you’re looking to increase your metabolism and lose weight, then have a glass 2 – 3 times a day.
However, never have a straight Apple Cyder Vinegar on it’s own – or you will be very uncomfortable, as it may burn!
Also as an extra precaution, how about drinking it through a straw, so that you don’t cause damage to your teeth? – and then thoroughly rinse your mouth.
You’ll find your body will benefit from less inflammation, increased metabolism, improvement in motility of the intestinal wall, amongst so many other benefits.
The time is now to focus on your health, feeling better and more energised!
